who's your muse?

So, my friends & and I had an interesting (if slightly random) conversation over lunch yesterday. We were talking about music, and both of them had the realization that of the music they listen to with vocals, 95% of it features the voice of a male. They just prefer listening to guys sing than girls.

I found it a little strange, until I realized that I'm the same way, only opposite. I almost exclusively prefer female vocals to male. It's one of the things I really like about techno music (possible chicken & egg scenario there)!

Is everyone like this? If you look at your music library, is there one gender of singer you overwhelmingly prefer?

What does it mean??
